President accepts Danve's resignation

New Delhi, Mar 6(IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee has accepted the resignation of Raosaheb Dadarao Danve, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, from the Council of Ministers, with immediate effect, on the advise of the Prime Minister.

Danve, who  was made Maharasthra BJP president a few months back, resigned from the Council of Ministers over the principle of ‘one-man, one-post’.

He  submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Modi, who accepted it and forwarded it to the President.
