Raghubar Das to be the next Jharkhand CM
Ranchi, Dec 26 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raghubar Das, 59, will be the next chief minister of Jharkhand, media reports said.
Das will be the first non-tribal leader in the state to hold the CM’s post.
Sources said an official announcement would be made shortly at a party meeting in state capital Ranchi on Friday.
The BJP and its ally All Jharkhand Students’ Union won the state polls winning 42 seats in the 81-member assembly.
Jharkhand had nine governments and three stints of President’s Rule since it was created in 2000.
