Uttar Pradesh fourth phase polling : SP candidate's son shot at, 12-15 per cent polling till 10 am

Raebareli, Feb 23 (IBNS) : A Samajwadi Party candidate's son was shot at during clashes with rival BSP workers in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba on Wednesday night only hours before voting started in the fourth phase of elections in the state, NDTV reported.

The report, however, did not give the name of the victim and details of the incident. 

 Five seats in Congress President Sonia Gandhi's parliamentary constituency Raebareli are among the 53 voting on Thursday.

Polling is also being held for the seats in Bundelkhand and Allahabad.

According to reports, 12 to 15 per cent polling was recorded till 10 am.
