BJP to win 32 to 34 seats in first phase poll in Bihar: Amit Shah
Patna, Oct 19 (IBNS) BJP chief Amit Shah on Monday claimed that his party-led coalition is going to win majority of seats in the first round of Assembly polls in Bihar.
Addressing a press conference, Shah said BJP is winning 32 to 34 of 49 seats which went to poll on October 12 in the first phase.
“I have analysed the two phases of polling and in the first phase we are winning 32-34 seats and in second phase we will get 22-24 seats,” Shah told reporters..
Shah said the BJP's main aim is to ensure that development takes place in Bihar.
"Even today Bihar is very backward when it comes to a lot of issues. That is what we will focus on when we come to power," Shah said adding that the state does not want to remain a ‘bimaru’ (sick) state from where even today the youth have to leave their home to find jobs elsewhere in the country.
Shah said if Nitish Kumar comes to power then Lalu Prasad Yadav would control his government from behind.
