BJP hails Modi's policy after UAE freezes Dawood's properties
New Delhi, Jan 5 (IBNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rejoiced the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign policy after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reportedly seized properties of underworld don and 1993 Mumbai serial blast mastermind Dawood Ibrahim, media reports said.
The gulf nation has sealed properties worth Rs 15,0000 crore held by Dawood who runs the organised crime syndicate named D-Company.
The move was made following the UAE government's inquiry on the mafia's assets.
Terming it as a 'masterstroke', the BJP tweeted, "Major diplomatic success of PM Modi: One of India's most wanted criminals, Dawood Ibrahim's properties worth Rs. 15,000 crore seized in UAE."
