Burdwan blast: Myanmar national arrested from Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Nov 18 (IBNS): Ind a fresh development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Myanmar national in connection with the Burdwan blast case from Hyderabad city in Andhra Pradesh, reports said on Tuesday.
The arrested person has been identified as Khalid Mohammed.
According to reports, he is a trained explosive expert.
He was reportedly involved in running terror camps in bordering areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
The NIA has recovered Jihadi literature connected to militant group ISIS while arresting Khalid.
Khalid has been arrested at a time when an NIA team is currently visiting Bangladesh over the probe into the Oct 2 blast in West Bengal's Burdwan district.
The Burdwan blast incident had taken place on Oct 2 last at Khagragarh area in Burdwan district when the explosion in a house led to the killing of two bomb makers and discovery of a cache of arms and ammunition.
Several terror modules were busted following the explosion and its investigation.
