New Delhi, June 13 (IBNS) The day the Bombay High Court is supposed to give its verdict on the controversy surrounding the film 'Udta Punjab', Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will lead a protest in Punjab's Jalandhar on Monday to highlight drug abuse and the "collapse" of law and order in the state.
Reports said Rahul Gandhi will be joined by all senior party leaders and workers from the state in the protest.
Amid an uproar over the film censor board forcing multiple cuts on 'Udta Punjab' that deals with the problems of drug abuse, the Congress vice president had supported release of the film, saying Punjab indeed has a "crippling drug problem".
