Kolkata, Sept 26 (IBNS) : In a major breakthrough, the Special Task Force of Kolkata Police have apprehended six members of the banned Bangladesh- based extremist organisation Jamaat ul Mujahideen, five of them wanted in connection with the Burdwan blast case, reports said.
The arrests, including that of two top members, one carrying a reward of Rs. 10 lakh, were made from different areas of West Bengal and Assam on Monday.
Reports said three of the arrested are Bangladeshi nationals and the rest Indian.
Police also recovered explosive materials, detonators and fake Indian and Bangladeshi currency for them.
